Tuesday in Keflavik, Iceland. We had a day on our own before the guided tour began.

We rented a car and drove around the peninsula west of  Reykjavik. This is at Gardur point. This old light house houses the smallest restaurant in Iceland, serving coffee and sweets.

As some of you know, we have to take pictures of the local horses. These Icelandic horses are short and furry!

This bridge crosses a major rift between two tectonic plates; the Eurasian and North American.
